It’s back for a second season, the Ramps on the Moon Podcast hosted by our brilliant Michèle Taylor, MBE, Director for Change, who works to elevate the place of disabled people in the UK mainstream cultural sector.

Michèle chats to some brilliant disabled actors as well as non-disabled allies from arts organisations, who with the support of Ramps on the Moon, are embedding anti-ableism into the work they do.

Guests include Amy Trigg, TV, film and theatre actor, and winner of an Olivier Award for ‘Best Supporting Actress in a Musical 2024’ for her role as Agnes in The Little Big Things. Amy has recently appeared on television in ITV hit series Grace and Unforgotten as well as Father Brown. Amy talks about her life experiences, her career, representation and how the scope for opportunity on screen is developing for disabled actors.

Zak Ford-Williams, TV and theatre actor, star of Bridgerton and The Hardacres. He also played Joseph Merrick in the critically acclaimed stage show The Real and Imagined History of the Elephant Man. Zak talks to Michèle about his personal experiences and the energy and importance of having disabled people in the room at every level of creating work to enrich the audience experience in a saturated story-telling world.
